A day in the Gorge.

Yesterday, Kelly and I embarked on an adventure to Multnomah Falls. I am currently working on a Geology project that involves studying the history of the Columbia River Gorge. We spent the day driving along the old Columbia River Gorge Highway; stopping at every landmark along the way, snapping pictures and talking about the geologic history of how everything formed and well, life. It was a great time. I snapped Anders into his ErgoBaby carrier and off we went on a short hike up towards the Benson Bridge at Multnomah Falls. I can tell already that he will be a nature baby. His face was priceless; he took in all the sights and sounds and really absorbed the experience. It was a beautiful day; clear and sunny but a little chilly. We didn't stay long but it was long enough to embrace our natural surroundings and have a much needed break from the city. I know that I have a future travel companion in the making - both in Anders and Kel as well.

More pictures to come!
